If I buy a brand new carb for mine (Deere 175), is it simply a matter of removing it with the (2) bolts, putting on a new gasket and replacing it? Wonder if a new one will already be adjusted as well? Tried to rebuild a carb once — no thanks.
Carburetor problems, mine was doing the same. Apparently you have to have the intake holes on your jet(also the bowl bolt) in the correct spot or else the carb can not receive fuel thru the jet, its either that or your bowl gasket is too compressed and doesn't allow your float to open completely. Mine will run perfectly fine if you don't completely tighten the bowl bolt, but if you tighten it completely it will not run.
