  1. I have a 95 ds. The starter motor went bad. I did a field test, it failed. I want to replace it with an after market part because I cant afford OEM. How do I find what type of starter to purchase? Some people say clockwise and some counter clockwise. I "think" it's a Kawasaki motor. I have the s.n. but that's it. Can you help me out here?

  2. I have a !986 Club Car gas Motor and when I barely press the pedal down it seems like it`s at half throttle already. It also jerks a lot on take off. If I adjust the throttle cable at the box like you did will this help? Or is there a different adjustment somewhere?

  3. Hi Kevin i have a 2006 club car all new fuel lines and filters new plug and carburetor it will run great for a day and then it wont run it bogs down very intermittent lost on what i need to do next also new voltage regulator

  4. This is why I like electric on golf carts..it takes over revving like no problem up to a point. You can get so much more out of them easy. It takes mods better..the works.

  5. I have a club car with FE350 engine. It runs good at high rpm and I can even move slowly in forward gear. In reverse it surges, bucks and will backfire. Doesn’t seem to do that in forward. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Great channel by the way.

  6. Kevin, I am having very similar issues with the governor but I put mine up on jack stands today and it seems that my governor is actually moving as it should unlike yours from this video. That being said I keep bouncing off the Rev-limiter, I’m sitting here reading through a service and parts manual trying to troubleshoot what my problem is . My guess is it’s electrical ? Any help would be great thank you

  7. Hi Kevin, my club car, went even move the governor when I push the foot throttle??? But I can manually rev it up by hand on the carburetor itself!!! But my cable's have stopped moving in the last day… any ideas?? What's wrong.
    Thanks Dirk

  8. we have a 2008 club car ds that came from an actual golf course. it is now used at a campground with some pretty significant terrain changes. when 4 adults are on board, it doesn't have much power to speak of. now i don't want to set any land speed records with this thing (i'm 42), BUT i do want to give it a bit more kick climbing hills. you showed adjusting that cable ferrule on the speed control box…if i were to adjust that a few turns out, would that be a safe option to increase power a bit?

i am going to do a full service on this cart prior to making any adjustments to make sure nothing is left on the table. i saw you said conventional 10w30…can i run synthetic? i am probably gonna run a high end oil filter, and k&n air filter to help protect and squeeze out everything i can. any recommendations are greatly appreciated…great vid, and a sub for you sir.
