I have a question, I have a Model N with an airvane ( which is nearly identical governor setup as yours) Im trying to figure out how the throttle is tensioned so at idle the throttle plate is firmly closed. Seems like the little governor spring wants to pull the whole thing WIDE OPEN. Does the air vane when the engine is running press the throttle to a firm idle setting? Thanks in advance!
