The valves are pretty tickey. Don’t know if that’s normal or not, but better that than too tight, resulting in burned valves. It’s also pretty smokey. I’ll try some heavier oil, and see if it improves either or both conditions.
The data plate indicates SAE 20, which seems impossible to find, so I gave it some SAE 5W20, which would be the same as 20 weight when hot. I can get SAE 30, perhaps it will be happier with that. With a capacity of only one pint, oil changes are cheap!
