  1. I have a small what appears to be a jet – It has a tiny o ring on it and I can't figure where it goes. It fits in the long tube but is very loose? HELP

  2. I cleaned my carburetor, and the main jet was loose in the plastic
    housing. It just slides in free, so it doesn't seal as it should.
    Does anybody know: should I buy the jet (with the o-ring) or would the plastic housing have been damaged and should I replace that?

  3. The rebuild kit had an intake gasket with a D-shaped opening which from what I saw
    was not used. When would that gasket be used? The gasket I am asking about is Briggs & Stratton 796081. I assume it is used between the carburetor and intake manifold on some applications.

  4. This saved my ass! Couldn't figure out why it wasn't getting gas after a rebuild, watched this and saw where the needle goes. Had no idea it slipped into the float like that.

  5. Personally…. upgrading to a brass needle seat pin saved me constant rebuilds and service …. think its about … weight and Buoyancy of the needle valve, fuel filtering, not putting ethanol in the fuel   … + a lot of undue repairs would end if we went back to made in America!!
