  1. my snapper walk behind was working fine when i was cutting under an azalea shrub. this walk behind mower has no guard for the governor spring so i have learned. one slight brush against the shrub and the governor spring detached and was lost and the mower died. i saw other cheaper snapper models with guards when i went shopping for the spring.
