  1. I have a Husqvarna YTH2448 and it has a 24 HP OHV-ELS725…..Twin engine model 446677 mine has a knocking sound do you think this is my problem and how much do you think this will cost me to get fixed thank you so much

  2. I have Briggs & Stratton Twin Valve engine on my TroyBilt. When I put the screwdriver in spark plug hole on 1 side, I feel the piston move the screwdriver. On the other side (right side), nothing. SO … I'm guessing I have a broken rod. Ran it low on oil, so I'm guessing that's why.
Anyway, I'd like to try to replace this and salvage the motor. Any advice or tutorials on how to do this?
I have it mostly apart right now, but don't know if I can figure out how to remove the cylinder head and get into the guts. Please advise.

  3. okay, I know this sounds desperate, but what If I combined two of these failed V2 engines to make one running without buying new connecting rods? The one I have I don't want to spend over $100.00 but buying another bad one doesn't seem so easy either. One guy refused to sell me rebuildable engines even though he doesn't do it

  4. How big of a job is it to replace the broken rod?  I'm about to tackle this very job on my neighbor's mower which was given to me! 🙂
