  1. I have the 650 series engine on a TroyBilt mower. I've replaced the carb, blue spark on plug, good gas. The mower won't start on its own. I can use starting fluid and it runs just fine. But. In the "off" position, the mower will not start. I watched this video to ensure the linkage is right. It is. But the carb butterfly won't close to pull gas at startup. What's wrong? Please.

  2. I have an engine just like this so far as the governor linkages and spring.  How does one adjust the governor and too with no load what r.p.m.s should this engine be spinning at under no load, please?
