  1. THIS VIDEO!! just THIS VIDEO!! THANK YOU, my neighbor tossed out this lawnmower and I'm looking at it like " that looks like a damn good mower" wouldn't turn over, messed with it a little, wouldn't turn over THEN watched this and BAM works like A CHAMP! I'm mowing my lawn, pulling the cord having it start up first time making damn sure my neighbor is out while I'm parading this Cadillac up and down the lawn. I'M A CHAMPION

  2. Thanks for the video. I have yhe exact same mower. Took it apart just like you did. Lawn mower started right up.

  3. Thank you Alameda Repair Shop! Your step by step video for the Briggs and Stratton 675 carburetor maintenance is a money saver! If I am ever around the Bay Area (I'm from Orange County), I'm buying you lunch!

  4. Thanks so much for this. I told my husband I could do it, he didn't think I could. Can't wait to see his reaction when he gets home, dinner is made, and the lawn mower is ready for him. ?

  5. you replace a small round piece and inserted into cars, its the one you removed with screw. is there a sten'spat number for that piece? Thanks your video is great

  6. Very helpful sir!

My lawn mower didn't start, and the first thing I tried after watching your video was removing and cleaning the holes of the bottom bolt, and that did the trick.

  7. This is the first time anyone has mentioned the thermostatic function of the muffler relating to holding the choke open. Thank you.

  8. I need help and I think I broke my lawnmower and here is my question If you did put the cord on your lawn mower put forgot to push down lever and the motor makes a clunk sound can it still start and I pulled the cord a lot of times and I don't know what to do and it started but now it was having a lot of black smoke with it and it's a craftman self pusher

  9. I have the same model. One thing I did which messed my mower was I put too much oil when I did an oil change. My mower will not start since then. I've since drained all oil and put in correct amount. I've tried this after I saw your video and  my mower will still not start. I've replaced spark plug and air filter too. Where is the fuel filter? How do I clean the fuel tank screen? Maybe that's the issue with mine. Thanks.

  10. Thanks a million for the great video!!! Mine will run for awhile but once I shut it off it has to totally cool down before I start it back up again. It's only about 6 years old and I think it's time to give the carburetor and overhaul like in the video…

    Thanks again!!!

  11. Hello, Question regarding removing the rear wheel (looks to be the same model here, self propell rear whell drive). Remove the wheel nut but the wheel does not seem to want to come off. Is there something else I need to loosen/remove or do I just need to muscle it off?

  12. Thanks a lot for respond all my messages. Mines work properly when is cold, ones is hot and has been used for more than 5 min or 8 min, after stop the engine the same do not start until its get cold again.

  13. My mower is the same you worked on this video, mine start went is cold and after is used for about 5min then it doesn't start, i have to,wait until it cool down and then it start. Also it can be seen it haa less power than usual. My mower had 5 month storage with old gas, do you think is my carb thay need this same service?

  14. have a craftsman 675 series power propelled yard vacuum Model 247770130 that will be needing a new belt soon. Owners manual does not explain how to replace belt. when belt cover is removed, belt goes under out of view towards what I think is the spacer assembly (only looks this way based on what I see in parts manual). Any help would be appreciated thanks

  15. Quick question for you, got the same mower only a year old but hadn't ran. Took the carb apart know it runs with a little kick every 5-10 seconds, any thoughts?

  16. Thanks for this video. I think it solves my problem. A close-up of the spring connections, especially the little one (about an inch long) would have been appreciated.
