Craftsman mower Model 917 Briggs and Stratton Carburetor 190cc Part 2



Part 2 shows how to clean the carburetor on a Craftsman 21″ lawnmower with a Briggs and Stratton 190cc engine.
You can clean these carbs really easily and basically for free if you have some basic hand tools and some carb cleaner.
Craftsman mower model 917.

Tools needed:
Phillips screwdriver
3/8″ socket/ratchet
1/4″ socket
8 mm socket
10 mm socket
Needle nose pliers
Slip joint pliers
Spark checker

  1. Can u point me in the right direction for a parts diagram? I found a craftsman 6.0 mower yesterday but it's in some pieces. The engine is whole however the carb, air cleaner plates and some sort of mounting bracket for something is separate from the engine.

  2. Nice video, but after all the disassembly , you didnt clean all the dirt out from around the engine. You mentioned earlier that you were going to.
