  1. wow thats crazy and it still ran LOL but the reason it lasted that long because the cylinder was cast steel not aluminum so it if was, it would have scored up pretty bad and lost all compression

  2. @Mueiwark the rings must have gone out the exhaust port, but they were worn right out so not much of them was left. i usually don't take pictures unless it will be apart for a while

  3. Thank you for all you do, it must take a lot to post this much education every week. And Thank you for the quick reply!

  4. HI IM SURE BUSY BUT HOPE YOU CAN GET BACK TO ME SOON. I HAVE A1986 YAMAHA G-1 GOLF CART. I CAN ONLY GET IT TO RUN WITH THE CHOKE HALF WAY. I TOOK THE FUEL PUMP OFF AND REPLACED IT WITH A 2-3.5 PSI ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP. THE CRANK SEALS ARE LEAKING A LITTLE BIT AND MY COMPRESSION 100 PSI IS THIS ENOUGH. I THINK BECAUSE IAM LOSING AIR THROUGH THE CRANK SEALS THAT IAM NOT GETTING ENOUGH AIR TO FUEL MIXTURE TO MAKE PROPER COMBUSTION WITHOUT THE CHOKE. DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT? OR AM I WAY OFF?

  5. of course I know better, some people though leave comments as though they are perfect and never make mistakes, lol, i film it for the world to see

  6. Hey Donyboy73, Love your videos….VERY informative. I have a couple of questions if you can answer for me as i am doing this exact job today. 1. i noticed the rings are bevelled, and unsure which way is up and 2. noticed a small hole in the center of the old piston but the new one does not have it. What is the significance of the hole? Thanks a bunch
