Yeah it's hot here to so prefer to watch the video and find out what's going on instead of 6 minutes of talking
So you talk for 6 damn minutes about a gas cap and don't say what the problem is with losing the tin thing.
It looks like that metal piece acts only as a splash shield.
Cut to the chase! My god I don’t care how hot it is😡
I have seen that happen a few times. It causes gas to have problems flowing into carb because it air cannot flow into tanks as it flows to carburetor
I have that gas can too, its 5 stars!
New gas caps are garbage, they rely on venting through a gasket – terrible design. There is a simple solution. Keep your original cap for maintenance purposes only (turning mower on its side). Purchase a new cap and remove the metal insert. Now drill a tiny hole (smallest drill bit you have) in the center of the cap (penetrate completely through the cap). Works for me.
i need to figure out a cap that vents better. i have the power cranked way up on my mower and it suffers bad when i close the cap
Thanks – avoided a lot of shoveling with this info- just in time ahead of the -10 weather.
Please Make More Videos!!!! Thanks! 🙂
