how to look up briggs torque specs and how to torque according to sequence a 10hp briggs engine.

  1. only use locktight where it is spec'd but i can't say ive ever found a spec for it myself. not sure if i confused you in this video, but i was talking about the red locktight i put on the thread insert for the plug. i should have brought in the house and let it cure really. but i decided to let it be for a few days out in the garage. wish i had a better garage that was heated all winter. i plan on insulating the garage roof this year and seal up the cracks in the blocks as much as i can.

  2. Hate to sound like a nit-picker, … but I am so: When using a dual-beam torque wrench like that, to obtain accurate readings, you need to keep the handle "floating" on the pivot pin in the center of the handle. Probably not critical in this application, but good shop practice.
