Once you have your model number you can enter it on their site to get the part number you need: https://www.briggsandstratton.com/us/en/shop/parts-and-accessories
Once you have the part number, find it on Ebay or Amazon.

  1. im not getting spark(plug new)can I repair without by cleaning dirt/rust off starter disc wherevu put the paper in ..instead of 10gauge feeler. do u think that could be problem? b4i buy aa coil n ht lead ..w

  2. One of the best videos I've seen about how to take apart a lawn mower to get to parts inside. Sure would like to see something on how to get to the starter motor on a walk-behind mower. Or at least some advice. Starter was working fine until last week but not now. Battery is fully charged and lead wires, key switch, all check out fine. Voltage is getting to starter–at least the best I tell. Just not sure how to expose the starter.
    Thank you!
