  1. I also have a follow up to this video called "4 HP Briggs & Stratton Quatro Motor Spring & Linkage Close Up Detail". Check it out, it may also help. Take care.

  2. Where did you buy your parts at? I have the B&S 500 Weedeater and the parts you just replaced are the ones I'm missing, I believe.

  3. I want to thank you so much for posting this video. This is exactly the problem I was having with my lawn mower. I ordered the same parts from Briggs&Stratton online and did the repair today in a matter of minutes. You have saved me from an expensive labor rate and/or a new lawn mower purchase. I wish I knew how to repay you.
    Thanks again!

  4. I am so glad this video helped you and so many others. Hit the subscribe button if you want to see more of my videos.

  5. I shouldn't be out of focus. Check your Youtube internet settings for 480p. Also I have an update to that video with digital pictures called "4 HP Briggs & Stratton Quatro Motor Spring & Linkage Close Up Detail" Check it out.

  6. Why didn't you let us hear it idle. It sounded like it was running full throttle good way to blow an engine. I have a Poulan Pro with a 4.5 Hp B&S 10G902 engine. It sure doesn't run like that.

  7. I'm on the MTD site and just lost the #  for the part. Does anyone know the product # for the smaller governor spring? No manual so I don't even have a diagram, I'm sure the part #s would be on it!

  8. How can you test a governor that isn't working the engine. Like in tall grass. I agree that the job isn't right till you get a good idle also.

  9. Awesome! I found what I was looking for. I need a new spring then. I will ring around to see where I can buy it from.

Thanks so much for your video?
