New $100 Project Car: 1991 Pontiac Firebird Rescue (Ep.1)

Time for the start of a new project car series, this time covering a 1991 Pontiac Firebird Coupe with a 305 small block Chevy engine and a 700R4 transmission. My neighbor needed to get rid of it but didn’t want to send it to the scrapyard, so he offered it to me for $100 and I gladly accepted. It has quite a few miles and has been sitting for a few years, so there is a lot of work to be done on this project!

Dates of filming: July 8th, 2018 (Buying)
July 12th-13th, 2018 (Oil Change, Washing, etc.)

Song List (Order of First Appearance):
0:00 Birds in Flight – Dan Lebowitz
1:51 Scapes – Silent Partner
6:40 Pluto – Topher Mohr and Alex Elena
9:13 Golden Days – Topher Mohr and Alex Elena
13:45 Pickup Truck – Silent Partner

  1. WHERE. WHERE ARE YOU GETTING A CAR IN THAT CONDITION FOR 100 BUCKS?. Here in Canada, you can't find one of those for less than 2000 bucks. People want too much for these up here.

  2. Reminds me of my 1st car. I got a 1998 Crown Vic LX. I vacuumed it, washed the inside and out, replaced the oil, gave it fresh Goodyear tires and… blew the engine after 3 months of ownership. It was leaking oil and I never payed attention. That was a long time ago. 2 cars later and I drive a Kia stinger GT now…

  3. I really like that car although I prefer Camaros. I have a 2000 Grand Prix GT with almost 270,000 miles, granted it has a few issues I am still confident enough in her to take it on long trips.

  4. If you sold it, I hope you gave him some just because it was a steal.. he could've asked you to restore it, but nice flip from dust and rust to gold no mold

  5. I'd love to find another one of these that cheap. my wife had one she loved before she died. same year except it was white.
