  1. What are those piston rings you file down to get them in spec, compression rings? Did you have to do it for every single ring?.. just curious, I'm not a mechanic

  2. Didn't see if he spaced the rings correctly, plus the fact he used Loctite on the rod bolts .
    I have a K181 i put together 25 years ago that has 966 hours on it now , and im still mowing with it today . Ive never used any thread locker on any rod nut or bolt .
