Snapper Lawn Mower Starter Rope and Starter Cover Rivet Replacement – May 30, 2013

This is the Snapper Mower I bought Oct 2012, Model # P216012 it just needed a spark plug. Has a Big 6HP Briggs and Stratton Engine they call it. The paperwork showed it was purchased April 1999 used it some last fall but with the newer 7HP Easy Speed Snapper find going to sell this. This video shows replacing the starter rope which was to short no longer would reach the handle and replacing those worn starter cover rivets with bolts and lock washers. Here is the original video of this Snapper I bought Broken on Craigslist October of 2012:

  1. You didn't bother to say anything about why you were clamping what. I'm worried about the spring flying loose or something – so for a while, I thought that that was why.

    2. Why in the world did you think that we would be interested in how you do this AFTER you take the rivets out?????? I was shocked when you said that it's a lot easier w/o the! Helloooo… That's not what our situation is!

    3. What's the justification for the commercial for your for-sale mower???
