Did change the oil, sharpen the blade, clean the air filter replaced the spark plug and gave it a good cleaning. Outside of the oil being very low did not find anything really wrong with it. This lawn mower for the age is in really good shape, he is going to pick this up and give it try!
Bought this off our local Craigslist advertised as would not start and almost new condition Toro Recycler. It has the Kohler 6.75 Gross Torque Engine on it. The gas smells really bad but a full tank also discovered the front wheel drive belt is off. Got this to start pushing a little carburetor cleaner in it but the Self Propelled is stuck on. Runs great a follow up video will be on the Self Propelled.
Picked up this Small Snapper Lawn Mower its a 19 inch cut with a 3HP Briggs and Stratton Engine on it. The Dial on the cover for the Start/Run/Start is stuck got this to at least attempt to start so it shows promise. Stay tuned Part II taking the cover over and seeing what is wrong with that Start/Run and Stop Dial.
See Part II of repairing the dial and the first start!
This is Part I of dismantling this Scotts Briggs and Stratton engine checking the OHV valves making sure they are not stuck, if the engine has compression and if any spark. What a greasy messy engine, valves not stuck and within the .04 – .06 Intake/Exhaust adjustments, replaced the flywheel key now have spark next video on to the carburetor.

This is a Craigslist find 5000 Watt Electric Generator with a 9HP OHV Vanguard Briggs and Stratton Engine. The owner said it had not run or been started in many years, I had bought this in October. Finally got a chance to see if it would even start, which it did after adding gas! Want do much with this will clean it up and listed it back for sale will also change the oil in it. See if I can find a manual online as well. The (2) 110 outlets work in testing out my drill which was good sign. Will do a part II follow-up later on this Craigslist Generator find seems to run just great.
This is Part II showing installing the OEM Tank Gas Filter for this Echo which did not fix the primer issue. Also replaced the primer bulb and the Zama Carburetor Gaskets. This fixed it! Part III link below for the startup:
