Did change the oil, sharpen the blade, clean the air filter replaced the spark plug and gave it a good cleaning. Outside of the oil being very low did not find anything really wrong with it. This lawn mower for the age is in really good shape, he is going to pick this up and give it try!
This is the Troy Bilt lawn mower bought in Nov 2014 finally got to back to taking the carburetor apart and clean it. This engine was hard to start was also overfilled with oil was surging as if starving for fuel. Very clean lawn mower. Will post the startup of this Troy Bilt in the next video.
Well look at this faded out odd in color looking Toro Personal Pace Recycler, bought this on Craigslist has a ripped out starter rope! Hopefully a rather easy fix providing the springs/dogleg starter parts didn’t blow out when the rope broke. It has a Tecumseh 6.5 GTS Engine shows being a year 2007 and model # 20073. Engine has compression providing it has spark and that carburetor is not gummed up this Toro Personal Pace has possibilities see Part II Link Below for the Starter Rope Replacement:
Picked up this Small Snapper Lawn Mower its a 19 inch cut with a 3HP Briggs and Stratton Engine on it. The Dial on the cover for the Start/Run/Start is stuck got this to at least attempt to start so it shows promise. Stay tuned Part II taking the cover over and seeing what is wrong with that Start/Run and Stop Dial.
See Part II of repairing the dial and the first start!
One easy fix on a Free Sears Craftsman Lawn Mower Model # 917.389062 with a Briggs & Stratton 6.75 HP Plantinum Engine. This lawn mower was left to the curb for me to pickup he had hit something and the blade was hitting underneath. A few hammer time taps with a rubber mallet pushed the metal back out, solved the problem and started 1st pull! See a Part II coming soon will sharpen & balance the blade, clean the nasty air filter, give it a bath and do a final start. See Part II the final after look and start:
