  1. I have an issue and no funds to fix it. The gas is leaking through the exhaust. I unplugged the spark plug and tipped the lawn mower over to do some cleaning.

    I tipped it the correct way but now the pull chord resists and pulls back ever time I try to start it.

  2. You left out one, gives the same symptoms as needle valve stuck! You have the air breather tube hooked to the gas line input into the carb, and the gas line hooked to the breather output from carb. Switch them and no more gas leak!
