Troy Bilt 21″ Lawn Mower 675 Series Briggs & Stratton – Carburetor Cleaning – March 26, 2015

This is the Troy Bilt lawn mower bought in Nov 2014 finally got to back to taking the carburetor apart and clean it. This engine was hard to start was also overfilled with oil was surging as if starving for fuel. Very clean lawn mower. Will post the startup of this Troy Bilt in the next video.

  1. I uploaded an Issue I have with my Lawnmower could you please check it out and give me your opinion for the repairs?

  2. I have the TroyBuilt mower & motor with self priming& auto choke. After I cleaned the carb & put it together. It leaks I beleive out the front. Any input would be micj appreciated. Thanks

  3. Thank you. I'm glad I saw your video. I was expecting to find a cheap plastic carburetor on this lawnmower like I have on others. Nope, 2008 build still has a metal carb, but you won't find that on the new model that replaced this and all others. If you look at the reviews at Lowes there are a million 1 stars on this machine and the rest. Ethanol gas and junk plastic carbs.

  4. I didn't know about the auto-choke until I saw it here. My mower was starting just fine then dying when I engaged the blade. I took the cover off to pull off the carburetor and clean it like you said – it turns out the auto-choke was stuck – I just had to poke it a little to un-stick it. In the end, I only had to remove 2 screws to fix my mower. Thanks for making this video!
