Troy-Bilt Tiller quickie carburetor rebuild for Kohler K161 7 hp engine: Part 1

This is a first part in a series where I document a “quickie” carburetor rebuild for a 1977 Horse model Troy-Bilt tiller for the Kohler K161 model engine. Of course everything that can go wrong in this series does go wrong – but fear not, I don’t believe in “polished” presentations anyways – most likely issues will pop up for you as well and why wouldn’t you want a REAL representation of actually doing this job. So please enjoy and comment.

  1. I have a Kohler on a John Deere 110…..maybe 7 or 8 hp. brother in law said it was seized but not true as it does turn so I need to look closer and see why he said it just stopped running after he was racing it…..hahaha do they have a auto shut off it too hot???
