  1. Excellent video and easy to follow. I couldn’t get my victa started until I followed your steps to fix the flooding of the engine because I left the tap on. All sorted in three minutes after watching you vid. Cheers

  3. I have a Victa Corvette 2-stroke mower I bought new in 1999 . Twenty years later I'm still using it . I make sure get it serviced every couple of years and shout it a new air filter every year . Still starts with 1 or 2 pulls, shame they stopped making them. Thanks for the vid.

  4. Thanks, that was extremely well done. Unfortunately for me, I know my issue is pouring rust-contaminated and probably too old petrol in (beginner's error) and boom instant fail, so I'll check these but look for some more tips.

  5. Great video, i was recently given 2 of these, the big motor on the large mower is a goer, but i will have to put it onto another deck, as it looks like a huge weight was dropped on it, wheels are all pointing different directions, all the self propelled drive is missing, even the drive axle is gone, very strange, but good motor. Thanks again.

  6. Life saver video Nev. Me Victa wouldn't start- likely fuel left on :(. Followed your fuel checks, muffler removal cylinder checks, spark checks and then you rich-fuel mix air hose removal tip and she started like a charm mate! Many thanks because your video probably saved me $125 mower shop service. Video is excellent, thorough and step by step for the novice. Really appreciate you taking the time to make it.

  7. very informative, very well done instructional video
Just got a very old victa 2 stroke with the same setup of engine with a broken pull cord and apparent problem with carby, this video explained everything perfectly, liked and subbed

  8. Hey Nev , I have the same mower, it starts fine but dies after about 10-20 seconds, I've tried pumping the primer to stop it from cutting out but doesn't make any difference. Took it all apart cleaned it etc. I am at at loss, any ideas?

  9. My fuel line keeps popping off where it goes onto the carby…any hot tip for keeping it on there? the plastic part of the carby it pushes onto is mostly recessed, so dont know if a little hose clamp would work..

  10. Mines had a full rebuild and still doesnt have that much power. Everything u say to check is fine. It runs different every time its started.

  11. hey mate what the cause if it leaks through the jet screw as well the primer bulb? I changed the needle and float and o ring
